To tell you a little bit about myself. I have been involved in music for many years, however drumming wise I was a relatively late bloomer, not picking up my first pair of sticks until my late 20’s. Since that time however I have studied and practiced diligently since I have always felt the need to make up for lost time. Having trained as an actor, it was via my acting career that I discovered my passion for playing drums after being cast in the international stage show Blue Man Group in 2006.
The show took me to Berlin where I was a regular cast member for 2 years. It was during my time in Berlin that I knuckled down to a daily practice regime and utilized the numerous drum kits and studios that were available to me there. Also on offer was an array of hugely talented drummers all kind enough to offer advice and share their wealth of drumming knowledge with me any time I asked. I would especially like to thank my good friend David Anania, firstly for the countless free tutorials, but more importantly for filling me with inspiration and the belief that it was not too late! Huge thanks also to Aurelian Bernard, Florian Holoubek, and Eshan Khadaroo.
Following almost 3 years living in Berlin, I finally returned to my hometown London in 2009, where I have since dedicated considerable time and energy to playing drums. Like most drummers I work hard at versatility, and constantly strive to improve my proficiency in all styles and genres. I would describe myself essentially a ‘song drummer’ and feel most comfortable playing contemporary Rock/Pop, however my repertoire also includes: Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Reggea
